Dear All,

As we approach the end of the year, I thank the Board members of Nordic Baltic Network of Police women for well-done work. 2018 has been a busy year, but with the contribution of skilled members we have, as in previous years, achieved the performance targets that we set for us. During the year, we have developed our network and a lot of changes have taken place. We have successfully been able to intensify our efforts and share resources from all the member countries. The project "Women in Police" was successfully completed and preparations for the new project "Include the Gender" is in good shape. Thanks for the efficient work we have done! With the new members of Sweden, the NBNP Board is now one complete Nordic Baltic Family. This is reflecting in NBNP's activities and a lot of good results have emerged. One of the leading goals of NBNP has been to strengthen the professional relations and contacts between the Nordic countries and the Baltic countries and to improve equality and equal opportunities in the police. We have done just that! I wish that NBNP can follow that same principle during the next year. Christmas is the time of surprises and joy, but it is also time to calm down and enjoy of silence. Although the police always also work during Christmas, I hope that every one of You will find a moment to relax and be together with your loved ones. I wish You All a Peaceful Christmas and Happy New Year!
